If you value your search position and website traffic you may want to rethink the use of Google’s free automatic translation tool. Apart from the contextual and cultural issues raised by machine translation that have been so well documented throughout the web there is probably one more very good incentive why not to rely on them. As a project manager with over a decade of experience in the translation service industry, one of the things that really gets my goat is the fact that management in multinational companies often seems to assume that staff in their foreign offices is better at translating than a qualified and experienced translator living in that same country.
